7.04Kw high density solar photovoltaic system. In order to maximize the solar yield on this new construction home in Davie, Florida, we used the highly efficient Sanyo HIT solar panels. Because of the high wind zone requirements in this part of Florida (150 mph now, going to 180mph) we used a third rail for added strength. The design of the house required two hot water systems, one for the guest rooms, kitchen and laundry and another for the master bedroom and whirlpool. We used one PV powered solar hot water system and the other we used a differential control system. Installation Partners were Milectra and Broward Solar.
